Welcome to MyRecoveryNetwork.com!
Recovery is defined as "the return to a former and better state or condition" and "regaining something lost or taken away."
For people who have lost themselves, their dignity, self-esteem and hope to alcohol, drugs (prescription or otherwise), some type of compulsive behavior, mental illness or abuse at the hand of another, recovery means regaining themselves and hope.
My Recovery Network is an interconnected group of people who share their experience recovering from a common problem.
Guilt, shame and fear of stigma keep people isolated and stuck where they are. Our mission is to connect people battling common problems so that we can support and lift up one another up as we share our experience. There is strength in numbers - you are not alone!
